Menelaus Theorem

Description of Menelaus Theorem
This theorem states that for a given triangle ABC, the points E, D, and F placed respectively on lines AB, BC, and AC will be co-linear when [math]\left(\frac{AE}{EB}\right)\ast\left(\frac{BD}{DC}\right)\ast\left(\frac{CF}{FA}\right)=-1[/math]. This theorem requires the distance between points to be directionally dependent.
