Variations of the Normal Distribution

Move the sliders for the mean μ and the standard deviation σ to [br]see how the normal distribution curve, i.e. the bell curve changes.
The values x = μ + σ and x = μ - σ are where the curvature of the [br]bell curve changes from down to up. The bell curve curves [br]downward on interval containing the mean, but it curves upward[br]outside of this interval.
