Wheel of Theodorus[br]The Wheel of Theodorus is also called the Spiral of Theodorus,[br]the Square Root Spiral, Einstein Spiral, or Pythagorean Spiral.[br]It was first constructed by Theodorus of Cyrene.[br]The smallest triangle is a 1-1-√2 right triangle. Each right triangle[br]after that is formed by using the hypotenuse of the preceding triangle[br]as a leg of the new triangle, adding a leg of size 1 at right angles to that new leg.[br]In this drawing the largest triangle has a hypotenuse of √17.[br]This makes a great MathArt project for students learning about square roots.[br]credit: wikipedia
