Using integrals

Once we have our model we can use it to calculate something of the building to use more Mathematics and to make a good use of our model for a certain porpoise.[br][br]For example we can calculate how many square meters of glass was used in the following building.[br][br]Surely as the model wont be exact we will always arrive to an estimation but that is what models are about.
]At the end of the year we will learn how to calculate integrals by hand, now we are going to use the software to calculate what we call INTEGRAL.[br][br]The integral of a function is the 'area' between the curve, the x-axis, and some limits that can be roots or other values of x.[br][br] If the function is below the x axis the integral will be negative, and if the function is upwards the x-axis the integral will be positive.
Task
Estimate the square meters of glass used in this building.[br]Do you recognize the building?[br][br]Look for the scale factor and make your estimation more realistic.
To do the task you will need to find the roots of the function and calculate the integral from one root to the other.[br][br]Use the GeoGebra commands Root and integral in the input bar.
