Theorem 13 - Similar Triangles

This demonstrates that when two triangles are similar, dividing corresponding sides will give the same answer.
Theorem 13 - Similar Triangles
Drag the triangle XYZ onto the triangle ABC to show that they are congruent (identical). The corresponding sides are the same colour.[br]Move the slider, d, to change the size of the triangle XYZ. d is called the scale factor.[br]Move the triangle XYZ to the right. Drag Z to rotate the triangle.[br]Notice that when corresponding sides are divided the answer is always the same.
