Find the slope and y-intercept ax+by=c
The student will enter the slope and y-intercept by solving for y with the equation of the form: a x + b y = c.
The linear equation slope-intercept form is y = m x + b.
When is there no y-intercept?
When is the slope undefined?

When slope is m = 0, you may not be able to enter the correct y-value, b, for the intercept. {This is a limitation of computer programs due to round-off errors.}
When the slope is undefined, there is no y-intercept.
