Graphing Linear Equations: Question Generator (V2)
The original idea for creating this applet comes from Steve Phelps' Graph the Line applet. [br] [br]Directions:[br]1) Examine the equation shown on the right side of the screen. [br]2) Reposition the 2 big points so that the line is the graph of the displayed equation. [br]3) Click the "Check Answer" checkbox to check. [br] If you're correct, the app will inform you. [br] If you're not, you'll know this as well. [br] If you're not correct, keep trying until you position the gray line correctly.[br][br]4) After correctly graphing the line, click the "Generate New Line" button.
Derivatives (Intro)-2
Students:[br][br]Use the limit definition of a derivative to find the derivatives of the functions given to you at the beginning of class. Use this applet ONLY for the sole purpose of checking each result afterwards.[br][br]Be sure to DRAG THE WHITE POINT around as well! (This should help you better understand the relationship between the graph of the original function and the graph of its derivative function.)
