Histograms, mean and standard deviation
The points on the line represent the scores of 50 students in an examination. The points can be dragged along the line to investigate how the shape of the histogram changes. [br][br]You can also move the points on the x-axis, marking the class boundaries, to create a histogram with different class widths. [br][br]Outliers are sometimes defined as points that lie more than 2 x the standard deviation from the mean of the data. The boundaries for outliers are shown by the red dotted lines, and any outliers are shown in red.
