Answer the following questions to fully explain under what conditions can you make a triangle? 1. What are the 3 lengths you are using? 2. Do any 3 segments form a triangle? 3. What do you notice about the side lengths? Repeat questions 1 - 3, 4 or more times making sure that at least 2 triangles are formed and at least 2 triangles are NOT formed. 4. How do the 3 side lengths relate to each other when a triangle is created? 5. If the sum of the 2 shorter lengths equal the longer segment, is a triangle formed? Why or why not?
