This applet allows you to explore both strictly determined and non strictly determined games. Ron is the row player, Camilla is the column player... In a strictly determined game the maximin equals the minimax. This value is then called a saddle point. If there is no saddle point the game is non strictly determined and players will vary their strategies.
Some questions to try: 1. (a) Explain why in the example above the point of intersection shows the best strategy for the row player. (b) Explian the significance of the x and y coordinates of the point of intersection. 2.
