Use the given transformation matrix to transform the vector . Graph both and the transformed vector with their initial points at the origin, and then find the determinant of the transformation matrix to determine what type of transformation this represents.

1. Write the given vector as a column vector.
2. Multiply the corresponding column vector by the given matrix on the left.
3. Graph both and the transformed vector with their initial points at the origin.
4. Find the determinant of the transformation matrix, and use the result to determine what type of matrix it is.
