Where is the central angle? Where is the inscribed angle? [br][br]Move points D and C. What do you notice about the measure of the central and inscribed angles?  [br][br]Now move point E? What happens? [br][br]What do you notice about the intercepted arc ( also called the minor arc)? [br][br]Could you find the measure of the major arc? [br][br][br]Things to add to your notes: [br][br]Central Angle theorem: Measure of the inscribed angle is half the central angle. [br][br]Major Arc= 360 - minor arc[br][br]Arc Addition Postulate: the measure of an arc formed by two adjacent arcs are the sum of the measures of the two arcs.
