Copy of Medians and the Centroid

In a triangle, the point of intersection of the three medians is called the Centroid.
Two properties:[br]1) The three medians meet at a single point.[br][br]2) G divides each median into two segments. The vertex segment is twice as long as the segment to the opposite side.[br][br]Example: [br]-Choose a median. [br]-I choose AD.[br]-G divides AD into AG, GD.[br]-A is a vertex, D lies on the opposite side.[br]-AG is twice as long as GD. (AG = 2 GD)
