Solving Systems of Equations

What are Systems of Equations?
The term Systems of Equations means when you have at least two functions [f(x) and g(x), most commonly], and you are trying to find where, or if they intersect, in order to figure out the solution(s).
Video Example
Watch the video and after, check out the activity below where you can try graphing some of these on your own:)
Look at the two lines below (y=-3x+1 and y=2x-5). How many solutions are there? Estimate the solution (written in point form [(x,y)]). Move around the thicker line and guess the solution of two more systems of equations (write down your new equations!) :)
More examples:)
Next, on the graph below, move the points labeled A and B to graph the line written in the yellow box. If the lines intersect, write down the solution, if they do not, click the new line button until they do:)[br][br]Do this three times:)
After completing the activities, take the short quiz below:)
