Micrometer

[u]Note[br][/u][br]1. The micrometer app is capable of showing negative zero error of up to -0.05 mm. [br]2. Maximum reading is 10.50 mm.[br]3. The apps allow for panning and zooming of the micrometer.

The applet shows the freebody diagram of the forces acting on a parachutist.[br]The parachute is assumed to open fully instantaneously at t = 30 s[br]Two options are available;[br]1. The freebody diagram moves along the v-t graph.[br]2. The freebody diagram moves along the d-t graph which is however not drawn [br]so as to avoid confusion since the scale is different from the v-t graph.

Lorentz Transform

1. Lorentz transformation using dynamic Minkowski diagram.[br]2. Points A and B are fixed on the at rest frame of reference. They can be changed by dragging around.[br]3. Points C and D are fixed on the moving frame of reference. They can be changed by using the sliders.[br]4. The coordinates for both the at rest and moving frames of references will be calculated as the speed is changed.[br]5. The speed and spacetime can be adjusted using the sliders and the 2 buttons, center and rotate spacetime.[br]
