In [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mathematics]mathematics[/url], the [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Four_color_theorem]four color theorem[/url] states that, given any separation of a plane into [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contiguity#Geography]continuous[/url] regions, producing a figure called a [i]map[/i], no more than four colors are required to color the regions of the map so that no two adjacent regions have the same color.
