Tangent Line from Secant Lines

We can derive the gradient of a tangent line by taking the limit of the gradients of secant lines.[br]x_0 changes the point at which you wish to find the gradient[br]h changes where the second point of your secant line lies.[br]As h becomes smaller, the secant line becomes a better approximation of the tangent line.
