FotoGebra is an educational project that pursues the general objective of fostering the interest of young people in mathematics and helping them discover that exact science is implicit in everything that surrounds them. It is a mathematical contest in which the participants, based on a photograph, must design a problematic situation, carry out mathematical modeling, solve the problem and perform an interpretation based on what is proposed, all through the use of the interactive software, GeoGebra.[br][br]The four categories:[br]CATEGORY 1: Middle School or equivalent - ages between 12 to 14 years old[br][br]CATEGORY 2: High School or equivalent - ages between 15 to 18 years old[br][br]CATEGORY 3: College Freshmen or Sophomores in Student Teacher Training, or equivalent educational institution (adults)[br][br]CATEGORY 4: College Juniors or Seniors in Student Teacher Training, or equivalent educational institution (adults)[br][br]CATEGORY 5: Free.
