We are going to use Geogebra to do some basic constructions and today that construction is a congruent segment.
1. construct a horizontal segment AB using the segment tool. Don't make it super long and put in the middle of the screen.[br][br]2. Use the segment tool and make a segment CD either below or above AB that is obviously longer than AB
3. Use the compass and set it for AB then move the center of the circle to C.[br][br]4. Use the intersect tool to find the intersection of the circle and CD, this will be E.
5. Construct segment CE using segment tool.[br]6. Use the distance tool and measure AB and CE.
Use the arrow tool and move around A, B and C. What do you notice(be specific). Also type any questions you might have.
