It presents three challenges for writing a proper fraction as a sum or a difference of two proper fractions.[br][br]To use the applet:[br][list][*] Create a new fraction by clicking the New Fraction Button.[/*][*]Click on the operation Add or Subtract.[/*][*]Click on a checkbox to select a challenge - same, or different denominators.     [br][/*][*]Enter values for A, B, C, and D.[/*][*]Check.[/*][/list][b]A Challenge question:[/b] For option 3: find A, C, and D if B equals the challenge number. Selecting and deselecting the third option will generate new challenge numbers.
