[list=1][*]I first created a triangle.[/*][*]Then I used the midpoint tool to find the midpoint of each edge of the triangle.[/*][*]Connected the midsegments using the line segment tool.[/*][*]Found the slopes of each edge and segment to verify that the midsegments are parallel to the third side.[/*][*]Found the distance between the midsegements is half the distance of the third side.[/*][*]I color coded each midsegment with its third side for clarification both in the picture and within the slope and distance as part of my verification.[/*][/list]
