Complete with a partner. Objective: Using function notation, write a linear equation that passes through as many points as possible AND IS A FUNCTION! Take turns. A turn consists of 1 trial equation (points do not count on trial) and then the final equation for points. Keep track of the linear equations you use. Keep score. Every coordinate point you hit with a graphed line is a score point! Red coordinate points are worth double.
HINT: Creating input-output tables of the points you want a line to pass through may help you identify the linear equation. Use your trial to decide if you should adjust the slope or move the equation up or down in your final equation. You can distinguish your line from your partners by selecting the line, right clicking the mouse, selecting "Properties," clicking the "Color" tab, and using your team color (stick with one color).
