Lincoln High School holds a Winter Carnival each year, where the freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors compete against one another in 12 different events, such as relay races, dodgeball games, and snow sculptures. The classes are awarded 3 points for each first-place win, 2 points for each second-place win, and 1 point for each third-place win. The following table shows the number of times each class placed first, second, or third during the week-long series of events. Use matrix multiplication to determine which class had the most points at the end of Winter Carnival.

Write the data from the table in matrix form.
Multiply the matrix determined in step 1 by a matrix that contains the point totals.
Determine how many rows and columns the product will have.
Find the product.
Interpret the results.
