[size=150]Statuary Hall in the U.S. Capitol is the former chamber for the House of Representatives. [br][br]After he was President, John Quincy Adams was a Representative in the House from Massachusetts. [br][br]The legend is that John Quincy Adams used the acoustics of this room to listen to his rival party’s conversation while he pretended to sleep. His desk was a one focal point, and the leader of the other party’s desk was at the other.[br][br][/size]
