Slide the slider in the lower right corner slowly. As you do, carefully observe what is happening.
The point on the far right is moveable. Make the circle bigger or smaller. Then reset the slider and slowly slide it again.
Does the size of the circle change the number of radii (radiuses) that wrap around it?
Approximately many radii wrap around a circle? Write this value as a mixed number or improper fraction.
Sketch this pic on your vertical surface. Then what you've just learned to calculate the circumference (perimeter) of this circle.
Suppose another circle has a circumference of 500 feet. What would its radius be?
