Lucifer's 1st Rule

Lucifer's 1st Rule is a bit meta.[br][br]Lucifer's 1st Rule: Try not using Lucifer's Rules before you use Lucifer's Rules.[br][br]What this means is: if you have to find an antiderivative, try using your own guile first. For instance, earlier in this chapter, I think you could have found several of the antiderivatives on your own without the assistance of Lucifer's Rules.
Quick Check: What's the antiderivative of
f(x)=4x^3
?
If you were able to figure out that the antiderivative was x^4 by thinking about Monkey Rule 1 in reverse, then Lucifer's 1st Rrule is correct: stop and think by yourself for a moment any time you need to calculate an antiderivative.
