How to open the Tools View

[b][icon]https://www.geogebra.org/images/ggb/toolbar/mode_intersect.png[/icon] Intersection[br][/b]To create the intersection point of two objects select the [i]Intersection[/i] tool. Click on the two objects to create all intersection points or directly click on an intersection of two objects to only create this single intersection point. [br][br][icon]https://www.geogebra.org/images/ggb/toolbar/mode_roots.png[/icon] [b]Roots[br][/b]To find the roots of a function select the [i]Roots[/i] tool and click on a function. For polynomials all roots are found, for other functions only those between the left and right edge of the [i]Graphics View[/i].[br][br][icon]https://www.geogebra.org/images/ggb/toolbar/mode_extremum.png[/icon] [b]Extremum[/b][br]To find the local extrema of a function select the [i]Extremum[/i] tool and click on a function. For polynomials all extrema are found, for other functions only those between the left and right edge of the [i]Graphics View[/i].[br][b][br][b]Note:[/b] [/b]The coordinates of intersection points, roots and extrema will be displayed in the [img]https://wiki.geogebra.org/uploads/thumb/9/98/AlgebraBlack.svg/24px-AlgebraBlack.svg.png[/img][i]Algebra View[/i].[b][br][br][icon]https://www.geogebra.org/images/ggb/toolbar/mode_slider.png[/icon] Slider[br][/b]To create a slider for a number or an angle select the [i]Slider[/i] tool and click on any free space in the [i]Graphics View[/i]. The appearing dialog allows you to specify the name, interval and increment of the number and angle.[br][br][b]Note:[/b] You can use the name of the number or angle for commands and functions to explore their changes when moving the slider.[br][br][b][icon]https://www.geogebra.org/images/ggb/toolbar/mode_showhideobject.png[/icon] Show / Hide Objects[br][/b]You can hide auxiliary objects in the [i]Graphics View[/i] by using the [img]https://wiki.geogebra.org/uploads/thumb/2/25/Mode_showhideobject.svg/20px-Mode_showhideobject.svg.png[/img] [i]Show / Hide Object[/i] tool[i].[/i] Activate the tool and select all objects that should be hidden.
