Minor and Major Arc

Observe the arcs formed in Circle A above.
In Circle A, [b]Arc DC[/b] has an arc that measures 112.27. This arc is called a [b]minor arc[/b]. A [b]minor arc[/b] is an arc on the circle whose measure is [b]less than 180 degrees[/b]. On the other hand, Arc BC is a [b]major arc[/b], because it measures [b]more than 180 degrees[/b].
