Sundial in a hollow sphere

On top of a cylinder, a hollow sphere displays a sundial.[br]The green circle is the horizon, including the labels north, east, south, and west.[br]The black arc is the meridian line from the south to the projection of the zenith at the south pole to the north.[br]The red arcs are the projections of Cancer and Capricorn.[br]When the sun is at zenith, the shadow of the nodus marks the mounting point with the cylinder. [br][br]This hollow sphere sundial can be adjusted to any latitude on the northern hemisphere up to the arctic circle.[br]Use the latitude slider for your location.[br]Use the declination and hour angle sliders to adjust the sun's declination and the hour angle.[br]The hour angle slider will be black when the sun is not casting its shadow in the hollow sphere.
