A simple program to all students to see the effect of a Translation vector on a 2D shape.

Use the horizontal and vertical arrows to make a new shape identical to the blue one except for its position.
Use the tick box "Show resultant vector" to see the overall distance and direction moved.
Use the tick box "Show vector notation" for the best way to describe the transformation.
Use the tick box "Show all vectors" to see arrows between points in the original shape to corresponding points in the new shape.
