Cooper's Pi Turtles

[justify][math]\Large \pi[/math] Day Activity. The turtles will go to random spots in the square. Count the number that end up inside the circle and divide by the total number set loose, then multiply the result by 4. If you cannot determine whether the turtle is in or out of the circle, discard the turtle from both counts. Use the black dot to determine position. Keep running tallies throughout the day of total turtles in the circle and total turtles. In general, the more times the turtles are let loose, the closer the result will be to [math]\Large \pi[/math]. Scroll down below the graphic to use a spreadsheet for recording results. [/justify]
