X(76) is called the 3rd Brocard point and is the isogonal conjugate of X(32).
T, triangle center X(32) is the 3rd power point. A power point is a point whose coordinates are defined by a power function. For the 3rd power point the
trilinear coordinates are a³ : b³ : c³.
The isogonal conjugate of T, triangle center X(32) can be constructed as follows:
- Reflect the lines AT, BT, CT about the bisectors of the triangle ABC (=blue lines)
- These blue lines cross at the triangle center X(76).
The barycentric coordinates of this point depend on the lenghts of the sides of the triangle.
