Students will work in partners/small groups to create geometric constructions involving segments and angles. They will also analyze why the steps that they follow lead to the specific properties within each construction.

#1 Congruent Segment

a. Create a "reference line" CD below segment AB.[br]b. Create a circle with radius AB.[br]c. Place the center of this circle at C.[br]d. Label the intersection of the circle and the line as E.[br]e. Create segment CE.[br]f. Change the color/thickness of your new segment.[br]g. Verify that the segments are congruent using the distance tool.
