Pythagoras' Theorem

Pythagoras' Theorem shows the relationship between the sides of a right-angled triangle.
"The Sum of the squares of the 2 short sides in a right triangle is equal to the square of the hypotenuse"[br][br]Verify Pythagoras' Theorem by dragging the pieces from the 2 smaller squares into the square on the hypotenuse.[br][br]Move the blue dots to change the size of the right triangle, to see that the theorem always works.

Testing Pythagoras' Theorem

Move the sliders to change the lengths of the 2 short sides
Use the sliders to adjust the short sides to check the length of the hypotenuse needed for a right triangle.
Is a triangle with sides 6, 8 and 10 right-angled?
Is a triangle with sides 5, 12 and 13 right-angled?
Is a triangle with sides 6, 12 and 15 right-angled?
Is a triangle with sides 7, 15 and 19 right-angled?
