This Applet allows you to practice calculating Mean and Median using randomly generated data and gives immediate feedback.[br][br]Remember, the MEAN is the arithmetic average of data values. Mathematically, we compute it with this formula: [math]\sum\frac{x_i}{\mathbb{N}}[/math][br][br]The MEDIAN is the MIDDLE observation. That means you need to start by ORDERING the data, and then either finding the middle observation, or averaging the TWO middle observations.[br][br]Please compute the mean and median for at least THREE different problem sets/distributions. Make sure that at least ONE of the problem sets has an EVEN number of values, and at least ONE of the problem sets has an ODD number of values.
