[justify]The seemingly complexity of the line pattern is due to the widening of the lines, creating the idea that the pattern is formed by numerous little polygons.[br]In the applet below you see that:[/justify][list][*]A simple 10-2 star is created in the decagons.[br]The middle of each edge is connected with the middle two edges further.[br][/*][*]In the pentagons the middle of each edge is connected with the middle of the next edge.[/*][*]Continuous lines create an octagonal form in the barrel shaped hexagons.[/*][/list]
