Continuous Random Variable
Definition of Continuous Random Variable
We already defined random variables, and discrete random variables.[br][br]But a random variable can also be continuous:[br][br]A continuous random variable X can take any value within some interval on the number line.[br][br]For example, X could be:[br]

the heights of men, which lie in the interval 50 cm < X < 250 cm[/*]
the volume of water in a tank, which could lie in the interval 0 m[sup]3[/sup]< X < 100 m[sup]3[/sup][/*]
[br]
