Capriani - San Giacomo degli Incurabili

Shortly after Vignola's Sant'Anna dei Palafrenieri Francesco Capriani da Volterra (1535–1594), a pupil of Vignola designs the second oval church in Rome: San Giacomo degli Incurabili.[br]For this church he uses Sebastiano Serlio's 4th scheme, based upon two equilateral triangles.[br]Notice that the four chapels are aligned with the radii os the circular arcs, marking the transition between two circular arcs with different radius.
