Find the buried treasure!
Directions to finding the buried treasure: Start at the old hut and walk to the palm tree while counting your steps. At the palm tree, turn 90 degrees to the left and walk the same number of steps. At that spot drive a stake. Then return to the old hut, and walk from the old hut to the oak tree, again counting your steps. When you get to the oak tree turn 90 degrees to the right, walk the same number of steps, and drive a stake at that spot. The treasure is located halfway between the two stakes. When you get to the island, the oak and palm and tree are still standing standing, but the old hut is gone! You and your friend think you've found the remains of the old hut in different spots, and proceed to follow the directions. Where do you each end up?
