I produced a large set of demonstrations for a geometry course using The Geometer's Sketchpad. I later decided to port these over to Geogebra. I encountered challenges when Geogebra did not implement certain features present in The Geometer's Sketchpad. I found work-arounds for most of these features, however. Hopefully Geogebra will grow to include some or all of these features in the future, but for now they can be had with a little extra work on the "programmer's" part.
What if you want to create an animation that executes a series of operations, A, then B, then C. I will be demonstrating a technique you can use, using an animated slider as a "master clock," then breaking down intervals into sub-clocks. This is an important enough topic that it should be considered for a future version of Geogebra as a feature implemented more smoothly.
I would like to show the attached video as my 15 minute talk. In it I walk through the process of creating radio buttons and variations, and multi-step animations.
Recommendations for future versions of Geogebra:
--Add Radio Buttons (or at least round icons as an alternative to the square check boxes).
--Add multi-step movement control to facilitate more easy animation.
