Improper integrals of Type II

This interactive figure allows exploration of improper integrals of Type II. These are integrals where the function becomes infinite at a point within the interval of integration. You can move the slider to get some example functions f, or you can enter your own (but the asymptote won't update on your entry). The green points can be moved to change the limits of integration or you can enter [math]a[/math] and [math]b[/math] directly. Depending on where the vertical asymptote is, either the leftmost point or the rightmost point will be approaching a vertical asymptote. You can make a determination as to whether the integral seems to be approaching a limit or not.
