Proof: Perfect Square Trinomials

The square of any binomial produces the following three terms:[br]1.   The square of the first term of the binomial:  [i]a[/i][sup]2[/sup][br]2.   Twice the product of the two terms:  2[i]ab[/i][br]3.   The square of the second term:  [i]b[/i][sup]2[/sup][br]The square of every binomial has that form:  [i]a[/i][sup]2[/sup] + 2[i]ab[/i] + [i]b[/i][sup]2[/sup]. [br]This form is called a perfect square trinomial.
