Enhancing Math Education: Free Interactive Digital Resources for Grades 4-8
To address teachers' needs for digital math materials that enhance learning and engagement, the GeoGebra Team has created a new collection of free digital resources. These resources, designed for grades 4-8, can be used immediately in classrooms for warm-ups, practice, interventions, and/or exit tickets. Unlike previous GeoGebra resources which were community-created, the team has now developed their own materials with input and feedback from teachers, ensuring high-quality, engaging content for schools. In this session, we will explore the design and structure of these resources, and demonstrate various ways to use them for classroom instruction. We'll practice assigning resources to students via GeoGebra Classroom and discuss how these dynamic interactives can facilitate classwide discussions. Additionally, we will explore how the GeoGebra platform can be used to curate and customize these open educational resources, supporting student learning.
