Half-life function

The half-life of a substance is the time it takes for half of the initial amount of that substance to decay. [br][br]This interactive figure is designed to help you check your solutions to problems that prompt you to calculate the time it takes for a certain substance (with known initial amount) to decay to a smaller amount.[br][br]First, solve such a given problem mathematically on your own. Then use this interactive figure to check. To check, simply do the following: [br]

Enter the initial amount of the substance. [br][/*]
Enter the half-life of a substance. [br][/*]
Enter the amount to which the initial amount decayed. [br][/*]
[br]The coordinates of the small brown circle will help you check the accuracy of your solution.
