8.2 (Day 2) Finding the Incenter
DIRECTIONS:
Navigating Geoebra:
Click on the purple TOOLS icon
to access the Geogebra tools.
You may have to click on "MORE" to see all the tools
You can zoom in and out on the graph.
Finding the Incenter:
Use the POLYGON
tool to plot your points and construct your triangle.
Use the ANGLE BISECTOR (AB)
tool to construct the AB's of the triangle's 3 sides.
Use the MOVE
tool to select the intersection of the three angle bisectors. This will tell you the coordinates of that point.
Example A: Find the Incenter of the triangle with points A(6,6) B(8,-4) C(-3,5).
