G.2.4 Introduction

In order to know triangle ABC ≅ triangle DEF (one congruence statement), do we need to know all six of the other congruent statements? Is one enough? Two? Three? Four? Five? Does it matter WHICH information we have? Make a prediction.
We need the whole class's teamwork for this part of the lesson! Make sure you're following along...we need you![br][br]The purpose of this activity is to determine what information we need to prove that triangles are congruent. For the next activity I'm going to give you some information and you need to use that information to create a triangle.[br][br]If we all create the same triangle, we can predict it's enough information to prove the triangles must be congruent.[br][br]If we create different triangles, we will know it's not enough information.[br][br]Let's give it a try!
