The circumcenter of a triangle is the point where the perpendicular bisectors of the triangle’s sides intersect.
Measure the distance from the circumcenter of the triangle to each of it's vertices. What do you notice? How do these measures change as you change the triangle?
Construct a circle with center H and radius with the length of the distance from H to one of the vertices. What do you notice about the circle in relation to the triangle.
What do you notice about the type of triangles when their circumcenter is outside the triangle? What about inside?
Use the perpendicular bisector tool to construct the circumcenter on the right triangle above. Make a conjecture about the circumcenter of right triangles.
