Visualizing components of a 3D vector
Here is a simple display of how we write 3D vectors using the i,j,k notation as well as the convention used in many calculators and computer programs. Notice a couple of things:[br]

The vector [math]\vec{A}[/math] can be changed by dragging the large dot around.[/*]
The components in within the brackets change, the order presented is a convention used widely across many computer programs and calculators[/*]
Notice that the 'hat' vector that only carries the direction of [math]\vec{A}[/math] keeps its length regardless of how long [math]\vec{A}[/math] is made.[/*]
