Inserting static text

Text tool
The [img]https://www.geogebra.org/wiki/uploads/thumb/1/14/Mode_text.svg/16px-Mode_text.svg.png[/img] [i]Text [/i]tool allows you to insert a text into the [img]https://wiki.geogebra.org/uploads/thumb/c/c8/Menu_view_graphics.svg/16px-Menu_view_graphics.svg.png[/img] [i]Graphics View[/i]. You can find the [img]https://www.geogebra.org/wiki/uploads/thumb/1/14/Mode_text.svg/16px-Mode_text.svg.png[/img] [i]Text [/i]tool in the [i]Toolbox [/i]of[i] Special Object Tools[/i]. 
Select the [img]https://www.geogebra.org/wiki/uploads/thumb/1/14/Mode_text.svg/16px-Mode_text.svg.png[/img] [i]Text [/i]tool and click in the [img]https://wiki.geogebra.org/uploads/thumb/c/c8/Menu_view_graphics.svg/16px-Menu_view_graphics.svg.png[/img] [i]Graphics View[/i] to specify the position of the text's lower left corner. Then, enter the desired text in the appearing text dialog window. Click [i]OK[/i] when you are done.

How to insert static text

Editing and formatting text
The inserted and selected text can be edited at any time on tab [i]Text [/i]of the [img]https://www.geogebra.org/wiki/uploads/thumb/3/30/Menu-options.svg/16px-Menu-options.svg.png[/img] [i]Settings, [/i]which is accessible via the [img]https://www.geogebra.org/wiki/uploads/thumb/d/db/Stylingbar_icon_graphics.svg/16px-Stylingbar_icon_graphics.svg.png[/img] [i]Style Bar[/i].[br][br]You can format the inserted text using the [img]https://wiki.geogebra.org/uploads/thumb/d/db/Stylingbar_icon_graphics.svg/16px-Stylingbar_icon_graphics.svg.png[/img] [i]Style Bar[/i] (e.g. font style, font size, color of text and background).[br][b]Hint:[/b] More formatting options are available in the [img]https://www.geogebra.org/wiki/uploads/thumb/3/30/Menu-options.svg/16px-Menu-options.svg.png[/img] [i]Settings[/i].
