My Acknowledgments to these GeoGebra Authors[br][br]Hannu Korhonen's 'geolaudan neliöt' is one of my favorite geoboards for carrying out classroom activities. Nevertheless he has set it as a private app. To respect his choice, a similar app written by him (viz. 'n x n -geolauta') is enclosed in this book.[br][br]The construction by Anthony Or - 'Drawing quadrilaterals on the grid/pinboard' is also my favorite. Its Chinese version named '方格紙上畫四邊形' is also available.[br][br]In compare with GeoBoard/PinBoard, not much is found for GeoStrips. Both 'http://ggbm.at/ncykVxTJ' (Antthony Or) and 'http://ggbm.at/d5BkmARK' (Arthur Lee) are not written for this purpose. Hence my simple one is inserted.[br][br]For the theme on 'Classifying and Identifying Quadrilaterals', tzunfung/Jack D. Gittinger and Anthony's apps are selected for class activities.[br][br]Being an origami lover, I enjoy much in reading chris cambré's GGbook 'http://ggbm.at/NJ3EKuyb' on 'Folding Paper, Doing Geometry Figures'.[br][br]This book can hardly be complied without the efforts of these authors.[br][br]About the Teaching Content[br][br]Considering the average cognitive development of pupils at primary 4, I prefer to introduce the concept of kite, polygon, regular polygon and diagonal as well.[br][br]Please be reminded to build up pupils' habit of recording their geoboard/pinboard activities in the worksheet provided. Mathematical notations should be introduced and brief description in words are helpful.
